Journal entries are saved in your browser's local storage under the key ds.journal.v1. They are never sent to a server, and the site has no accounts. Clearing your browser data, or using Delete all in the journal, removes them.
Because the data lives in one browser, it does not follow you to another device. Use Export in the journal to save a file, and Import to restore it.
The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Fonts are served from this site. The host, Cloudflare, counts page requests in aggregate as part of providing the service.
