A dream journal is a record kept for your own use. Its value builds over time, because patterns show only when you can compare many nights.
Keep each entry light: a date, a title of your own, the dream as you remember it, and how you felt on waking. Add a mood if you wish. The journal here offers moods, plus markers for lucid and recurring dreams.
Do not tidy the dream. Odd jumps and loose ends are part of the record. If a word feels important, leave it as you wrote it.
Once you have a handful of entries, open Patterns. It counts which symbols and themes recur, and shows them over time. Treat the counts as a prompt for reflection, not as an answer.
Your entries stay in this browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so use the export button now and then to keep a copy. Clearing your browser data will delete the journal.
